My Story

I’ve decided to #GoGreen4CP (again) on 4 October 2019 to support World Cerebral Palsy Day. Nearly all of my friends know my football affiliation, as a result of which I have made it a rule in life NEVER (well, hardly ever) to wear anything green. My oldest son Ross even refers to the colour now as "manky green" (my proudest parenting achievement).

However, this is a great cause (and I have a client deeply affected by this awful condition) so I’m making an exception.

Problem… I don’t own anything green, so my friends / colleagues will have to lend me stuff.

And… if we can raise enough, I’ll even don the Hoops again (if someone lends me a shirt which they don't mind getting back in pieces with questionable stains). When I did this at Kirkie High in 1988-ish, I raised £200 for Cash for Kids, so £250 is my target this time round.

And... for an extra donation, my lovely friends, colleagues and connections can take photos and make me look like an idiot on social media. What's not to like??!!
